My Story

Porto Rocks was born from my deep love for Portugal, especially Porto. I’ve visited this under-the-radar gem numerous times, and I want to share my experiences to help others discover its charm and fall in love with it as much as I have.

I hope to attract new travelers to Porto and inspire others to keep coming back to explore all that Northern Portugal has to offer.

Who I Am

I’m a former finance guy turned travel advisor. I’ve also spent over three decades exploring the world, hanging out on five continents and close to thirty countries—and that list continues to grow every year.

I’ve had a ton of amazing travel experiences—solo, with my kids, and with friends and family. And I’ve met so many interesting people along the way.

Now, I want to help people experience the world. I’m doing that by sharing everything I know to inspire others to get out and enjoy our amazing world. Life is short, and there is much to see.
